We organize Bachelor’s and Professional Master’s degree studies in Optometry at the University of Latvia, both full-time and part-time. So far we have positive experience with international groups from Italy, Sweden, and Estonia. We are organizing studies not only in Latvian, but also in English. To find out more about tuition fee, entry qualification, language requirements, and application deadlines, please see section Apply after opening Bachelor or Professional Master programme window.If you consider full-time studies, be aware that all the lectures and practical or laboratory works take place in University of Latvia, Academic Center for Natural Sciences, Department of Optometry and Vision Science, 1 Jelgavas street, Riga, Latvia. For this reason, you should be present most working days.If you consider part-time studies, you will have access to an e-study platform to see presentations and video materials, read lecture materials and books, as well as pass tests, give reports and read comments. However, you will have to come to Latvia for about a week each semester to pass exams, participate in practical and laboratory works, and participate in some lectures.
